Something beautiful is happening in your life, and I'm excited for it.

Something's been asking for your attention. You haven't had a place to put it.

I don't know what brought you here today, and I'm not going to guess. But I want you to know something before you read another word.

Whatever it is, I'm not afraid of it.

I'm not going to look at what you bring and think you should be further along, or further behind, or somewhere other than where you are. I've sat with enough of my own confusion to know it doesn't move on a schedule. So if you're in the middle of something you can't name yet, that's not a problem to fix before we talk. That's just where you are.

I think of what I do the way you'd think of someone showing up for a birth. Nobody hires that person because she's convinced them she's the best. They want her there because something in them already trusts the way she'll be in the room. Steady. Unhurried. Glad about what's happening, even the parts that are hard. That's what I want to bring. Not answers. Not a program. Just enough steadiness, born out of my own years of being lost and found, that you can borrow some of it while you find your own footing.

You don't have to arrive with the right words. You don't have to know what you're asking for. You just have to be willing to pay attention to what's actually happening in you, and I'll pay attention alongside you.

What this is like

01

A Walk

We meet outside and walk while we talk. Some things loosen when your body's moving that don't loosen sitting still.

02

A Conversation

Thirty minutes, no agenda beyond what's on your mind. A place to start if you're not sure what you need yet.

03

A Gathering

A small circle, gathered around something specific, so you're not the only one in the room paying attention to this.

04

A Retreat

A few days set apart from your ordinary life, with space to actually feel whatever's been waiting for your attention.

05

A Read

Essays on Substack, if you'd rather sit with something on your own before you write to anyone.

Writings

A few things I've written, if you'd rather sit with something before you message me.

Twenty years in, still walking it.

I'm Jesse. I've spent the last twenty years learning to sit with confusion instead of rushing to fix it, first in my own life, then alongside other people's. I'm not here because I have it figured out. I'm here because I know what it's like not to.
